We suggest placing bite-size pieces of firm cheese, goat cheese and blue cheese in Asian spoons, topping them with a dollop of apple butter, and serving these delightful spoons with a glass of Domaine Pinnacle Ice Cider. Ingredients
1 lb (approx. 4 apples) Golden apples, peeled and cubed
1/4 cup (50 g) sugar
3/4 cup (150 g) butter
1 tsp (5 ml) curry powder
1/3 cup (75 ml) marshmallow spread
Preparation
1. In a large heat proof glass bowl, place cubed apples and sugar, mix well.
2. Place bowl in microwave oven and cook on high for 20 minutes. Check apple tenderness to make sure they are cooked evenly.
3. Place cooked apples in a blender then add butter, marshmallow spread and curry powder. Mix until the texture is silky smooth.
4. Pour the apple butter into glass jars and keep refrigerated.
